Review of favourite previous student video

We looked at music videos that were made by last year's media studies students. One of my favourite videos was by Mustafa, Nick, Poppy and Charon. They created a music video for 'Howl" by Florence and the Machine.

 






One of the main focus of the video which I really liked was the use of the different screens. I thought it was really effective and different. This screen has an animation of a wolf which was smart as the name of the song is 'Howl'!

The pattern on this screen was different and unique. 

Lights was probably another one of their main focuses as they have used them in lots of different ways like in this shot. They have also made lights as part of their mise-en-scene.

The Mise-en scene of the video was well thought and original.  I also liked the use of the lights.
