Analysis of 3 Music Videos

We have been looking at several music videos before we started to plan what our music video would consist. The three music videos that have influenced our final planning decisions were Rita Ora ft Dj Fresh - Hot Right Now, Flo- Rida ft David Guetta - Club Cant Handle and Emily Osment- Lovesick 

1. Rita Ora ft Dj Fresh- Hot Right Now 
                                                                                                                 

This is one of the videos that has influenced the location and the theme for our final video. This video is shot in one location where there is graffiti and is very urban, also Rita Ora's style of outfit is street and compliments the theme of the video.  We have decided to go with the urban theme and shoot our video in Brick Lane as we are going to get a lot of shots of graffiti and it will give us a urban feel. The shot of Rita Ora walking down the streets has also influenced us because it sets the mood and also its like a little teaser before the actual performer is shown on the camera. Overall one of our main base tracks is going to be in Brick Lane and is going to be  of the artist strutting down the streets of Brick Lane. Although Rita Ora's style of clothes in this video is very street we have decided to go more in depth and go with more of a grundge look as it will identify the artist we have created. 

2. Flo- Rida ft David Guetta- Club Cant Handle Me 

This is another music video that has influenced our final planning decisions for our music video. In this video there are quite a lot of shots that are shot in a club with a crowd of people dancing and  flashing lights. As our song choice - Spectrum is about colours and lights we wanted to incorporate a bit of this to our final video but in different ways. We have decided to have a scene in our video in a club, with a crowd dancing and the flashing lights. This would also give our viewers a sense of our artists personality and also create a lively atmosphere which we are going to try and create.

3. Emily Osment - Lovesick 

This is the final music video that has influenced our planning for our final music video. In this video there is one base track where the artist is standing in front of a black background and there are flashing lights. This is going to be another way incorporate colours and lights in our music video as our song choice is Spectrum. This video is also edited to the beat and this is one of the main thing we wish to achieve when it comes to editing our final music video.
