This is Alicia Keys 'Girl On Fire' cover. It has a mid shot image of her with her initials in red contrasting to the black and her album name underneath in the corner. I quite like this mid shot image because it fills the cover nicely and it allows to show her hand gestures as well as a nice image of the artists face.
This is Rita Ora's 'Ora' album cover. This is a close up image of the artists face which I really liked. The artists name is placed at the top not covering her face and the album name is placed at the bottom. The close up focuses on the face a lot more and makes it look effective. Considering these layout choices, I think for my digipak cover I am going to use a close up image.
